Accessibility Statement
Moreno Bookkeeping Services, Inc. is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.
Our commitment
Accessibility is treated here the same way bookkeeping is: as a system, not an afterthought. This site was built with the intention that anyone — including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings — can read the content and complete the contact form without obstruction.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible. This site is intended to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It has not yet been evaluated by an independent third-party auditor, so we describe it as partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and some areas remain under review.
What has been implemented
- A single, descriptive
h1on each page, with headings in logical order. - Text contrast targeting at least 4.5:1, and 3:1 for large text and user interface components.
- Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, accordions and the contact form.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Interactive targets sized to at least 48 × 48 pixels.
- Visible form labels, with required fields marked in text rather than by colour or placeholder alone.
- Errors announced in text next to the field they relate to.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alternative text on decorative ones.
- No autoplaying audio or video.
- Animation and smooth scrolling disabled automatically when the operating system requests reduced motion.
- Content reflows at 320 pixels wide with no horizontal scrolling.
- A skip link to jump directly to the main content.
Known limitations
This site is new and still under active review. We are not currently aware of specific barriers, but the site has not been tested with every assistive technology and browser combination, and no formal external audit has been completed. Where third-party resources are used — for example web fonts served by Google Fonts — their accessibility is outside our direct control.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or need information from it in a different format, please get in touch. Accessibility feedback is taken seriously and is usually responded to within five business days.
The most direct route today is a message to Alex Moreno on LinkedIn, or the contact form on the main page — please mention accessibility in your message so it is routed correctly.
Assessment approach
This site was assessed by self-evaluation during development, using manual keyboard testing, structural review of headings and landmarks, contrast checking of the colour palette, and verification of layout reflow at narrow viewport widths.
